À La Folie
‘À La Folie’ (‘To Insanity’) is about love and the loss of love. It’s a soft, feminine approach to the chaotic experience endured when love is at its end, between softness, roughness, love, lust, connection, disconnection, masculinity, femininity —and all the in between.
The artist invites the viewers to experience the emotions that flow from the unconscious mind to the distress and final conscious surrender.
After a debut of the project at her first international group exhibition during Paris Photo 2023, À La Folie has immortalized its spirit with the release of Valeria Sarto’s first photo book and solo exhibition at 444 Studios in Miami, FL.
